Photo taken of a nuisance alligator observed cruising The Lakes. This alligator becomes very friendly when people are observed on or near the lake banks. This alligator has also been observed coming as close as (1) foot up the lake bank as if looking to be fed.
It appears that a homeowner or a vendor employees have been feeding alligators as at times (3) different sized alligators have been reportedly observed within the lakes water. The reporting could possible be the same alligator as what have been reported has been three different sized alligators to the association.
It is unfortunate that if more than one alligator is within the lakes all three will have to be classified as NUISANCE ALLIGATORS as trappers will have to be notified to expedite the removal.
Homeowners MUST be Warned the feeding of ALLIGATORS or BIRDS is ILLEGAL.
